I canned 21 quarts of green beans
With 2 little helpers, shucked 22 dozen ears of corn
Well, maybe it was more like 1 helper and 1 hinder-er, but at least she was cute at it
Blanched, Cut, and Froze the 22 dozen ears of corn, which made 22 bags of corn
Finished preserving peaches
Added another 6 grocery bags to my sewing list
Making the grand total of tote bags in process look like this...
Picked up a new shipment of 31 meat chicks and 10 layer chicks
All before I flew out to the very homemade and adorable wedding of my youngest brother and his now-wife!
Everyone pitched in making food and desserts, helping create the decorations/favors, and setting it up. It was the kind of wedding where you felt a part of the celebration... not like you were just watching the show. It was beautiful.
Leading upto the trip was a little on the stressful side with a lot going on, but getting to see my large family all in one place was indescribable. Now 5 out of 7 of us siblings are married and we have managed to marry husbands and wives that everyone else loves so much and thinks of as a part of us. How amazing is that? The perfect ending to a wonderful week.
